TPO Roofing
TPO is the fastest growing product for use in single ply roofing. TPO membrane is comprised of three layers – a TPO polymer base; a strong, polyester-reinforced fabric center (scrim) and a tough thermoplastic polyolefin compounded top ply. TPO is designed to combine the durability of rubber with the proven performance of hot-air weld able seams. TPO membranes with their high-reflectivity ratings help reduce the amount of energy required to maintain cool building environments. TPO is highly resistant to tears, impacts, and punctures with good flexibility to allow for building movement. TPO is available in white, tan, and gray, with thicknesses of 45 mils (.045″), 60 mils (.060″) & 80 mils (.080).
EPDM Roofing
EPDM is commonly referred to as “rubber” roofing and is one of the most popular products in single ply roofing. EPDM is made of high-performance synthetic rubber compound that provides outstanding weather resistance in various climates. EPDM membranes are economical systems that provide durability, design versatility, and installation ease for single ply systems. EPDM is available in black with thicknesses of 45 mils (.045″), 60 mils (.060″) & 75 mils (.075). It is now also available in white 60 mils (.060) for energy efficiency.
